The EmbryoGuard
cryopreservation system for oocytes and embryos,
VitMaster,
is based on the IMT rapid vitrification technology which
avoids ice crystal formation and allows the reduction in
concentration of the toxic cryo-protective agents.
It also
enables vitrification of samples in a sealed container,
avoiding the risk of contamination.
A
built-in warming unit provides rapid heating of the vitrified
sample, reducing the risk of devitrification and
re-crystallization.
Currently, research and development is proceeding using the
VitMaster
to
